British Values

How we teach British Values in the Early Years at Wootton Lower School.

Fundamental British values are already embedded in the Early Years Foundation Stage and promoting British values will be part of our everyday daily routines, interactions with children and planned activities. All prime areas and specific areas of learning within the Early Years Curriculum have an important part to play in actively promoting British Values, so that they are at the heart of everything that we do!

How we teach British Values at Wootton Lower School in Years 1 - 4

At Wootton Lower School, the British Values are promoted throughout the curriculum, across the whole school. They are also seen in the school ethos and policies, assemblies, special events and cultural celebrations. Below are some examples of how each of the British Values are promoted across the school.
